Erika Kirk took her husband Charlie's death pretty hard ... she's recently revealed she stayed out of her own bedroom for weeks after he was shot.

Erika opened up about her personal life in a speech at the University of Mississippi Wednesday at an event for Turning Point USA, according to Fox News.

Erika told the crowd at Ole Miss she'd lost her "best friend" seven weeks ago when he was shot and killed at a speaking event held at Utah Valley University.

We obtained the 911 audio too, and you hear Keely telling dispatchers she found Sam in a pool of blood ... then she gets emotional as she performs CPR.

Waymo says its self driving vehicle struck a cat in San Francisco only after the animal suddenly darted underneath as the car began to pull away ... TMZ has learned.

A company spokesperson tells TMZ ... "The trust and the safety of the communities we serve is our highest priority. We reviewed this, and while our vehicle was stopped to pick up passengers, a nearby cat darted under our vehicle as it was pulling away."

The spokesperson continued ... "We send our deepest sympathies to the cat’s owner and the community who knew and loved him, and we will be making a donation to a local animal rights organization in his honor."

Gayle King could soon say goodbye to the "CBS Mornings" anchor chair ... with a new report claiming the TV legend is expected to step down next year amid major shakeups under new network leadership.

According to Variety, King, who's helmed CBS Mornings since 2012, may stay within the CBS family in a different capacity, possibly developing her own show. The report says the details haven't been finalized.

The shake-up comes amid a sweeping overhaul led by newly appointed CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss, who's been making moves across the network ... axing two streaming shows, cutting roughly 100 staffers, and parting ways with several on-air anchors and correspondents.

Kevin Costner is taking another swing at getting a judge to toss a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by a stunt performer who claims she was forced to participate in an unscripted and unscheduled rape scene on the set of the Western film series, "Horizon."

The judge recently threw out two of Devyn Labella's 10 claims ... but Costner just appealed the decision in a bid to get the eight remaining claims dismissed ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

Costner's attorney, Marty Singer, told us earlier this month he planned to appeal the judge's decision ... and on Thursday afternoon, he made good on his promise.

"Days of Lives" star Suzanne Rogers is revealing her fight with cancer ... she says she was diagnosed over the summer and has already completed treatment.

In an interview with TV Insider published Thursday, Suzanne says she was diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer.

Suzanne says she felt something was off with her body and went to the doctor. She underwent a series of tests, which confirmed she had cancer.

Angela Martini, a former Miss Universe contestant from Albania, is back on the market ... because she just pulled the plug on her marriage.

The model beelined it to court Thursday and filed to divorce her husband Drago Savulescu after 7 years of marriage ... according to legal docs obtained by TMZ.

In the docs, Angela lists October 24 as the date of separation and she's going with the boilerplate "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

Lady Gaga's grandmother, Angelina Calderone Germanotta, has died ... TMZ has learned.

Angelina -- the mother of Gaga's dad, Joe Germanotta -- passed away on October 12, just days shy of her 95th birthday. A funeral for Angelina was held on October 17 in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

Angelina was the matriarch of the Germanotta family and had a special bond with her superstar granddaughter. In fact, Gaga's full name -- Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta -- carries part of her late grandmother's name, a touching tribute Gaga has often said connects her to her family's legacy and Italian roots.
