Former Mets Pitcher Sued for Balking on a Bill
Just days after being dropped by the New York Mets for being a terrible baseball player, Livan Hernandez had a lawsuit dropped in his lap for allegedly being a terrible payer.
A guy named Franklin Vizcaino -- who claims to have been Hernandez's personal driver -- just filed a lawsuit in NY claiming the pitcher owes him $15,800.
TMZ spoke with Vizcaino, who gave us the breakdown on the cash: $7500 for unpaid wages -- and the rest, he claims, is what's owed to him after Hernandez borrowed (and then wrecked) his Lincoln Navigator back in June.
Vizcaino wants his nearly 16 grand back, plus interest and whatever the court will add onto it for his troubles.
Batista -- No Shirt, No Problem
Disgustingly ripped WWE superstar Batista exited Bardot this weekend shirtless -- and after getting one look at that ridiculously beefed up body, we're guessing club security didn't feel compelled to remind him about their dress code.

Cops Search Mayweather's Home after Shooting
Las Vegas police searched the home of Floyd Mayweather, Jr. today after the boxer's car was spotted at the scene of a shooting that occurred last night.
The shooting happened at the Crystal Palace Skating Center sometime yesterday evening -- our law enforcement sources say no one was hurt or injured. We're told cops don't know if Mayweather was actually at the scene at the time of the incident.
According to KVVU, a search warrant was served at Floyd's home today, but it's unclear as to what they were looking for.
Our sources say cops are looking to talk to Floyd to see if he knows anything about what went down.
UPDATE: We just spoke to Floyd Mayweather, Sr., who said his son had nothing to do with the shooting.
Mayweather Sr. tells us he spoke to Floyd about 30 minutes ago. He said cops ransacked his son's home today looking for a gun, but didn't find anything.
Mayweather Sr. said the reason his son's car was at the skating rink last night was because he takes his kids there every Sunday to skate.
The Big Show = Big Cheater!
WWE superstar Big Show is about 7' tall and weighs 485 lbs., so why did he feel the need to cheat -- or "improvise to win" -- at a thumb wrestling match with our 5'5" 125 lb. photog?

Builder to Keyshawn -- Gimme the Damn Money
Retired NFL receiver Keyshawn Johnson has caught passes for the Jets, Buccaneers, Cowboys and Panthers ... but now he's been accused of dropping the ball on more than $1 million in payments to a construction company that worked on his house.
Gordon S. Gibson, Inc. has just filed a lien on Keyshawn's Calabasas, CA home, claiming the ESPN broadcaster owes them $1,115,500 for "supervision and construction of the Johnson residence."
According to the docs, Johnson's tab is getting bigger by the minute -- gaining 10% annual interest since January 14.
FYI -- In 2000, Keyshawn signed a $56 million contract with the Bucs.
Tito Ortiz's Pipe Dreams
Tito Ortiz is used to flexing his massive pipes in the octagon -- but this weekend at the Pomona Fairplex, he was showing off a pipe of a different kind ... the kind you smoke, er, things out of.
Jenna Jameson's babydaddy was given the glass pipe by a lady at one of the vendor tents -- and all he had to do was sign one of her hookahs.
Just what a new father of twins needs!

Kobe Bryant -- My Former Maid Plays Dirty
Kobe Bryant and his wife have filed legal papers, claiming they have the poop on the lawsuit their former housekeeper filed against them.
The housekeeper, Maria Jimenez, claims Kobe's wife Vanessa was incredibly abusive and disrespectful -- screaming and swearing at her, even forcing her to put her hand in a bag of dog feces to retrieve a tag from her blouse.
In Kobe's docs, he and Vanessa say they paid the maid $50,000 a year, gave her time off, lavished her with gifts, yada yada.
The Bryants say the maid ate meals with them and when she asked for time off to visit her family in Peru, Vanessa gave her a paid leave of absence.
Kobe's response to the lawsuit claims all the allegations the maid is making are false, that she wasn't wrongfully fired, and the notion that her privacy was violated because of home security cameras is ridiculous -- the maid knew cameras were rolling.
David Beckham -- Keep It On Mute
David Beckham only said two words to us yesterday at Dulles International -- and with that voice, we wouldn't want it any other way.

With a 'do and ensemble straight outta 1994, the disgraced figure skater/Nancy Kerrigan nemesis/sex tape star/celebrity boxer was the V.I.P host at LAX in Las Vegas last night and showed off some mean moves.
Watching the 38 year old dance is almost as painful as a baton to the knee.

Big Ben's Lawyers: Emails Shall Set Him Free
Ben Roethlisberger's lawyers claim they have emails and IMs proving Andrea McNulty's sexual assault allegations are a load of bull -- including one IM she sent after the alleged incident saying, "I would date Ben Roethlisberger."
Ben's attorney David Cornwell just released a document containing emails and IMs, which he says were sent between Andrea and her fake online boyfriend "Ben the Soldier."
In the docs, Cornwell says Andrea sent one "light-hearted" email to fake Ben around 12:41 AM on July 12, 2008 -- which would have occurred a mere 1.5 - 2 hours after she claims the real Ben assaulted her.
Cornwell says the email "proves that, rather than crying in her truck in the parking lot, and driving away, distraught and crying [which she claims in her lawsuit] McNulty was back at her workstation sending light-hearted emails and engaging in benign chatter with her online boyfriend.
Shaq Fights Down at Oscar de la Hoya's Level
It was hardly a fair fight -- Shaq is 7'1", 325 lbs, Oscar De La Hoya is 5'10", 154lbs -- but the two strapped on the gloves and threw down in Vegas last night ... and the footage is AWESOME.
During the fight at the Planet Hollywood Hotel, the diminutive boxing champion is clearly holding his own against the behemoth of basketball -- even landing a few shots on the big man's grill.
As the for winner -- we're guessing we're gonna have to tune into that "Shaq Vs." show to find out.

Cris Carter -- Yiddish Gone Wrong
Former Minnesota Vikings star Cris Carter had the chutzpah to try and bust out the Yiddish word "meshuggeneh" during some yente segment on ESPN earlier today -- only he totally misused the word ... and ended up looking like a total shmendrick.
TIP -- skip to 5:27 into the clip.
For the record ... meshuggeneh is not glue. It's a crazy person. Nosh on that.
Props to Deadspin for finding this gem.
