Donald Trump showed Tom Brady some love, and now Tom's returning the favor ... with a locker room shout out to Trump's campaign slogan.

One of those red "Make America Great Again" caps was spotted in Tom Terrific's locker at Gillette Stadium this weekend -- a potentially huge endorsement for Trump.

The Donald gave Brady props when his 4-game suspension was overturned last week, and Trump's camp says he and TB have been tight for years.

Apparently, they don't talk much about hair styling?

Floyd Mayweather has one tough lady in his corner -- the NFL's first female coach Jen Welter -- who will follow in Justin Bieber's footsteps and walk the boxer to the ring to fight Andre Berto.

This is BRUTAL ... and also very, very awesome.

British reality star Jamie Laing -- one of the stars of "Made In Chelsea" -- got absolutely annihilated during a charity rugby match in London ... all thanks to a former member of the All Blacks.

The guy who delivered the blow is Brad Thorn -- who just retired from pro rugby 3 months ago ... but decided to participate in the Rugby Aid charity match.

Long story short ... Laing tried to run across the pitch, encountered Thorn -- and GOT ROCKED HARD!!!!

Props to Laing for trying to tough out the hit -- but the guy was eventually hospitalized and diagnosed with cracked ribs.

Tim Tebow's not some laughing stock amongst his peers ... just ask NFL superstar Chris Johnson who tells TMZ Sports point blank -- he thinks Tebow BELONGS in the league.

The Arizona Cardinals running back was leaving 1 Oak nightclub in Hollywood last night (gotta get it in before the season starts!) when we asked if he thinks Tim can still make it in the NFL.

Check out the clip ... Chris is a fan -- "I think he's a good player."

When Tyrod Taylor starts his 1st game with the Buffalo Bills, he's be doing in style -- with a customized DIAMOND mouth guard ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Tyrod hooked up with dentist to the stars Dr. Michael Wright -- who says he made a special piece for the 26-year-old ... "It will be blinged out with diamonds."

Don't worry, Wright says the diamonds are coated with a protective layer that prevents the rocks from damaging his mouth. He's actually made similar pieces for other star athletes.

There's more ... the piece is also equipped with a magnetic strip inside the guard so it will stick to Tyrod's helmet ... or anything else that has metal in it. No more mouthpiece straps.

Good luck!

Major turmoil behind the scenes with the L.A. Clippers ... the players are fuming, the staff is confused ... and multiple sources tell us all roads lead to a conflict involving Steve Ballmer's first major hire.

After Bill Simmons said the Clips were "as dysfunctional as ever" in the new Ballmer era, TMZ Sports spoke with multiple sources within the organization -- including players -- who tell us the drama all centers around Gillian Zucker, the team's president of business operations.

The Uber driver who claims he was robbed by UCLA football star Ishmael Adams says the guy was acting "drunk and belligerent" from the moment he got in the car ... and he claims Adams got violent when he tried to kick him out of the ride.

TMZ Sports spoke with the Uber driver who says he had no idea Adams was a football player when he picked him up from an L.A. mansion last weekend ... but claims the guy was acting like a jerk from the start.

"I warned him to stop [acting belligerent] three times. He didn't.".

The driver -- concerned for his own safety -- says he drove to the UCLA police station and told Adams to leave the car ... and that's when Ishmael allegedly got aggressive.

"He assaulted me," the driver says ... who also claims Adams forcibly took his cell phone. "He was mad I kicked him out of my car."

Eventually, cops came out from the station and arrested Adams -- who's been suspended indefinitely from the UCLA football team.

"I let him out right in front of the gate where the police go in and out. I saw 1 or 2 cameras there. So he can't say it didn't happen."

We reached out to Adams for comment, so far no word back. UCLA told us they couldn't discuss a pending legal matter.

O'Shea Jackson hasn't reached the million dollar milestone, but when he does the first thing he's targeting is Lakers memorabilia.

Ice Cube's son was out at Warwick nightclub in Hollywood Saturday, when our photog asked about financial stuff. The "Straight Outta Compton" star made it clear he and his fam are huge Lakers fans, and they've collected everything that wasn't nailed down, and a few things that were.

Don't give up on Trent Richardson just yet ... so says ex-NFL superstar Shaun Alexander who says he still believes in the embattled running back -- and wants to personally coach him up!!!

TMZ Sports spoke with Alexander -- the 2005 NFL MVP -- who says he's been following Trent's career since Richardson was in high school ... and knows the 25-year-old has insane potential.

"I don't know what he was doing in Oakland. I don't know if he'll get another shot ... but I'd give him another shot," Alexander says.

"I'd like to coach him up for a year and get him all riled up."

Alexander knows a little something about how to be a successful running back in the NFL -- he was a 3-time Pro Bowler, 2-time NFC rushing leader and is 7th ALL TIME in rushing TDs.

At this point, might be worth it for Trent to pick up the phone while the offer's still on the table!

Rob Gronkowski isn't just about party buses and booze cruises, he can class it up sometimes ... but with a touch of Gronk thrown it in.

The New England Patriots stud recently picked himself up a new Mercedes AMG S63 from Bernie Moreno and the folks at Mercedes Benz of Berlington, MA.

Moreno tells TMZ Sports dealing with Gronk was a breeze, saying, "He’s the absolute real deal. What you see is what you get. A really nice guy who loves what he does and is as genuine as I have ever met."

As for the actual car, Moreno says it was "fully-loaded" with 577hp, rear seat entertainment system and -- in a feature that sounds like it was created specifically for Gronk -- the car comes with a small fridge in the back.

Gronk gonna Gronk.

The Eagles have cut Tim Tebow.

He was one of the most compelling storylines on "Hard Knocks" ... but after Kourtnei Brown was cut by the Houston Texans this week, the linebacker tells us he's confident he'll back in the NFL.

Brown -- whose pre-season pick 6 interception was featured on the show -- was released yesterday after putting up a helluva fight for a spot on the roster. The move came as a shock to scores of fans of the HBO show, who reached out to Brown.

"I didn't know anyone cared," Brown tells TMZ Sports ... "My Twitter's been going off. People complimenting me, showing me support. It makes me feel a lot better during a very tough day."

Brown says he was so focused on trying to earn a spot in training camp, he didn't realize he was becoming one of the stars of the show ... "The magnitude of it is crazy. I didn't realize I was having an impact on people."

12:15 PM PT -- A spokesman for the Bengals tells us per league rules, the NFL will provide health insurance for Devon Still and his family over the next 5 years -- even if he isn't signed by another team.

Now, this is legitimately sad ... the Cincinnati Bengals have cut Devon Still -- who they signed to a contract last year so his daughter Leah would continue to get health insurance to cover her cancer treatment.

Still's story became national news -- the defensive lineman was featured on "Ellen" and was honored at the ESPYs this year.

Unclear where Still will go next ... but if there's any team out there desperate for some good P.R., it wouldn't be a bad move.

Lookin' at you Washington ...

Devon issued a statement ... saying, "Have nothing but love for the Bengals organization and the city of Cincinnati. Both helped me through one of the darkest times of my life and I am forever grateful."

He continued, "It's time to move forward and see what's next #iKnowThereIsAPlanForMe"

Former NFL star LaDainian Tomlinson says RG3 is totally done in Washington ... but not in the NFL ... telling TMZ Sports the Redskins need to cut bait with the embattled QB ... so he can rise again with a different squad.

LT was at LAX when we asked the future Hall of Famer about a plethora of NFL topics ... including RG3's dismal situation in D.C. -- where the former golden boy has been demoted to clipboard holder.

Check out the clip -- LT gives RG3 the classic good news bad news situation ... saying that he's totally finished as a D.C. signal caller but he's got a destination in mind where Robert might be able to make a phoenix of himself.

AWESOME VIDEO ALERT ...

TMZ Sports is about to show you NFL legend -- and MMA fighter -- Herschel Walker dressed as Lady Gaga and dancing to "Luck Be A Lady Tonight" in front of a packed house in Las Vegas.

It happened Thursday night in Sin City when master ventriloquist Terry Fator called Herschel up on stage during his show at the Mirage ... and what came next was so epic, you just need to watch.

Tim Tebow has some MAJOR support from a big huge Philadelphia mega-icon -- Sylvester Stallone -- who tells TMZ Sports Tim shouldn't just make the Eagles roster ... HE SHOULD START!!!!
