The LSU football player who was stabbed in a bar fight last week is on the mend and "doing great" -- one of his teammates tells TMZ Sports.

FYI, Dillon Gordon was hospitalized with injuries to his chest, stomach and legs after being stabbed multiple times at Reggie's bar in Tigerland. His alleged attacker Jamal Vaughn was arrested and charged with battery.

We spoke with Dillon's teammate -- and fellow LSU tight end DeSean Smith over the weekend -- who gave us an update on Dillon's health.

LSU coach Les Miles has since instituted a "No Bars" rule for players -- but Smith says there is a SAFER way for the football team to enjoy Louisiana nightlife ... never party alone.

Lamar Odom is about to get some good news ... he will not be charged for being under the influence of cocaine in the Love Ranch near-fatal OD, TMZ has learned.

The Redskins are out of the playoffs, but Kirk Cousins could still get a Super Bowl ring this year -- if he buys the one Mark Rypien won back in 1988 ... 'cause it's officially on the auction block.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Rypien's championship ring from Super Bowl XXII is up for grabs via Goldin Auctions -- starting bid is $15,000.

Of course, Rypien didn't play a single down in that game -- when Washington beat Denver 42-10 -- 'cause he was only a rookie back then ... playing behind Doug Williams and Jay Schroeder.

Goldin Auctions tells us Rypien sold the ring back in 2013 -- and the current owner has decided the time is right to put it back on the market.

We're told the ring is expected to fetch around $50k.

Don't feel bad for Rypien -- he went on to lead the Redskins to a victory in Super Bowl XXVI ... and even took home the MVP trophy.

Justin Bieber is damn serious about his stroke, so serious ... he's seeking professional help.

Justin was taking tennis lessons this weekend in L.A., concentrating on his forehand. We've already seen Sporty Biebs kill it in hockey, skateboarding, ping pong and hoops. Remember, he already has an MVP trophy from an NBA Celebrity All-Star game.

Anyway, tennis is a way better pastime than pissing off Mayan Gods by pulling down your pants -- so kudos to Bieber.

Paris Saint-Germain -- one of the most famous soccer teams in the world -- is going to war with rapper M.I.A. ... claiming she's damaging their reputation by rocking their jersey in a music video.

The whole fight is over M.I.A.'s video for her song, "Borders" -- in which the rapper attempts to shed light on the plight of refugees ... while wearing a Paris Saint-Germain soccer jersey.

The lyrics are critical of people unsympathetic to refugees -- "Guns blow doors to the system. Yeah f*ck 'em when we say we're not with them. We're solid and we don't need to kick them."

In the video -- which features several images of refugees packed in boats -- M.I.A. altered the team's sponsor's slogan "Fly Emirates" to say, "Fly Pirates."

The team had a HUGE issue with the fact M.I.A. used their jersey to make her statement about the international refugee crisis -- claiming the video suggests PSG is part of the problem ... and not the solution.

In fact, PSG honcho Jean-Claude Blanc fired off a letter to M.I.A.'s label saying, "This association is all the more hard to understand that nothing in our activities and in our daily initiatives suggests we have anything to do with the problems highlighted by M.I.A."

Now, PSG is demanding M.I.A. scrub the image of their jersey from her video and says it's considering legal action if she doesn't ... claiming the rapper is damaging the team's "prestigious reputation."

M.I.A. posted the threatening letter on her Twitter page -- but so far, has not issued a formal comment on the situation ... and the video has not been altered.

Pacman Jones is confused.

The Cincinnati Bengals star went on "The Dan Patrick Show" Monday morning to call B.S. on Steelers WR Antonio Brown ... claiming the guy was FAKING IT when Vontaze Burfict hit him in the head.

In fact, Pacman says Brown's injury was nothing more than an ACTING job -- and he was so good at faking hurt, dude deserves a Grammy.

Walsh's GF, Sarah Chaffee -- a TV news reporter in Alabama -- went to Twitter after the heartbreaking playoff loss to the Seahawks yesterday and defended her man.

"Vikings were not in a position to win the game w/out @BlairWalsh3 keep in mind he scored evry pt today. also handled himself like class act."

New year, new chick for Kyrie Irving -- the Cleveland Cavs superstar has gone public with the new chick in his life ... a famous R&B singer who was once a finalist on "America's Got Talent."

Irving's new lady is Kehlani -- a former member of PopLyfe, a singing group that made it to the finals of AGT back in 2011. She's since blown up on her own -- working with huge stars like Justin Bieber and Trey Songz.

Unclear how the two met -- but Sunday night, they took a huge step in their relationship ... going public on social media.

"Nothing else really matters when I'm with you," Irving wrote on Instagram ... "That's when I knew I had someone special."

Kehlani wrote back, "And that's why you're a king. You've shown me so much in so little time.. lost faith in alotta things, but lots have been restored. All smiles witchuuuuuu Corny asssss."

23-year-old Irving just came out of another serious relationship last year with former Texas beauty queen Andrea Wilson. The two had a kid together back in November and Irving has vowed to be involved in the child's life.

As for Kehlani ... there's only one problem with their blossoming romance -- she's a hardcore Warriors fan from the Bay Area.

This is interesting ... L.A. Clippers star Austin Rivers says if he had to compare his team to a rapper -- they'd be Kanye West because people hate 'em ... but respect 'em at the same time.

23-year-old Rivers was leaving Hyde on Sunset when he told us ... despite the team's 9 GAME win streak, there's still no love out there for the 4th place Clips.

"The people don't care for us too much," Rivers said ... "I don't know why, I'm new here!"

Tennessee Titans star Kendall Wright has serious off-season headaches ... his baby mama is taking him to court for child support, and thinks he's getting revenge by repossessing her car.

In court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Kortney Michelle Owens-Rader says she has a 5-month-old baby boy with Wright named Kendall Jr. -- and the Titans leading receiver agreed in December to pay her $2,100/month in child support, starting in 2016.

The docs make it seem like everything's cool between Kortney and Kendall, but sources close to her say that's not the case. We're told Wright had been "taking care" of Kortney -- a singer signed to Floyd Mayweather's record label -- but nothing was on paper.

Cut to last week when, according to our sources, Kortney's 2014 Cadillac XTS -- a gift from Wright in happier times -- was repossessed. We're told Kortney thinks Wright stopped making payments because he was pissed she took him to court.

This probably won't get better ... they're due back in court in a couple of months. We've reached out to Wright's reps, but nothing back yet.

Deion Sanders is putting his face front and center in the fashion game ... and it's generating big bucks for his son's clothing line.

Deion Sanders Jr. is the creative force behind Well Off, a streetwear clothing brand ... and its bestseller is a t-shirt with Dad's iconic Jheri curled image from the 1989 NFL draft.

Deion Jr. -- who's currently playing football at SMU -- tells TMZ Sports, he chose the image because it represents his brand to a tee ... "Well Off is about being that way mentally, emotionally, and spiritually and financially. That picture just showed [dad's] hard work had paid off."

Sanders Jr. says Deion and his mother, Carolyn, chipped in to help him get started. So, it couldn't hurt to put the main investor on some gear. By the way, since Jr. is an NCAA athlete ... his sister handles the money for Well Off.

Michael Keaton should've been celebrating after his Pittsburgh Steelers yanked the Bengals' beating hearts out of their chests -- but, NO ... instead he was pissed about Antonio Brown's concussion.

Greg Hardy's days with the Cowboys might be numbered, but a former Dallas star -- who recently got out of prison himself -- thinks he can put the controversial player back on the path to success.

Eugene Lockhart -- a star linebacker for the 'Boys from 1984 to 1990 -- served 3 years in the federal pen for taking out fraudulent loans in the early 2000s. Lockhart got out last summer, and says he sees a lot of himself in Hardy.

Lockhart says he now realizes how immature he was as a young player -- "Staying out late, the alcohol, drugs just not living the right way we took a lot for granted and when we see guys like [Hardy] it starts reminding you of yourself. There is no doubt, he needs a mentor.”

Since getting out, Lockhart says he's studied seminary at Southern Bible Institute and he ministers people in his community now. He wants to add Hardy to his flock ... "My son talks to him a lot and has been asking me to mentor him so I will be really interested to do it”.

Lenny Dykstra's son Cutter must be a summa cum laude graduate of Keepin' It Real University ... and not even family is immune to his straight talk.

Cutter was leaving The Nice Guy in Hollywood with his wife -- Jamie-Lynn Sigler -- when we asked if he thought his dad should join Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza in Cooperstown.

Lamar Odom is officially out of the hospital and getting back to a normal life.

The former NBA star was seen being driven around the San Fernando Valley on Friday ... and while we can't see his full body, his face certainly doesn't look too worse for wear.

A source close to Lamar confirmed to us he has started working towards a full recovery at a local rehab facility. We're told he'll visit the rehab daily and work on his walking, talking, reading and writing.

Ronda Rousey wore a real body suit Friday as she was out and about in L.A.

Ronda gave BF Travis Browne a big smooch, looking like her old self.
