Jacksonville Jags star Marcedes Lewis confirms ... he just locked up a gig on "Now We're Talking" -- a scripted comedy about 2 washed up QBs who try to become broadcasters.

The show is being produced by Warner Bros. in conjunction with LeBron's Uninterrupted sports-entertainment network for Verizon’s Go90 mobile-video service.

As for Marcedes' part -- he tells us he plays a pro football player who's taking broadcasting courses in the hopes of landing a gig ... and runs into a bunch of old football buddies trying to do the same.

Lewis says Steelers WR Martavis Bryant will also be in the show ... but brags, "I got extra scenes!"

The show is expected to debut in the spring.

Former "Basketball Wives LA" star Brittish Williams knows how to do girls night out ... with half-naked chicks.

Williams and her crew celebrated ladies night by throwin' down Benjamins at Ace of Diamonds. She can't get rid of her cash quick enough.

We're told Williams plunked down $10k for boobs and booze.

Ronda Rousey graciously if not belatedly accepted defeat on "Saturday Night Live," bowing to Holly Holm, and then playing a thirsty bachelorette and a bullied student who kicks ass.

Hulk Hogan is back and in black -- this time as a spokesperson for 800-Loan-Mart commercials.

The Hulkster caught some heat last year regarding certain racist remarks that were made public after several years ... but he's moved past that and is now set to star in a big TV commercial for the title loan company.

Hulk's been their spokesperson for years, but the company is now ready to air new spots with him.

Visiting The Hulkster -- Dennis Rodman, who was one of the first celebs to defend Hogan, saying they've been pals for 25 years and Hogan doesn't have a racist bone in his 6'7" 300 pound body. The two former tag team partners are both repped by celebrity sports agent Darren Prince.

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan decided to reward himself this year after racking up 10 sacks on the field ... and his gift to himself is pretty sick.

Check out the $35,000 gold chain Jordan picked up from Avianne & Co. in NYC -- a 14 karat yellow gold chain that weighs in at 1 kilo!!

We spoke with Joe Avianne who tells us, "Cameron wanted to buy himself a fat gold chain to celebrate his 10 sacks this season ... as soon as I showed him that piece he said he had to get it."

These NBA ballers got game ... shoe game that is.

Shaquille O'Neal just dropped a huge surprise on the Florida Basketball Cop and the kids he shot hoops with in a viral video ... showing up to the department and playing some street ball.

Shaq arrived at the Gainesville Police Department Saturday and headed out to the same spot Officer Bobby White responded to a call last week which ended in a game of pick-up ball with local kids. It's pretty awesome, you can tell how pumped both the kids and the officers are to play with the big man.

Lucky for everyone involved, Shaq was more of a facilitator during the game, dishing out passes instead of dunks.

The game ended with a great message from Shaq to the kids ... proving once again why he's the man.

Draya Michele and Orlando Scandrick might just be back together again after the two were spotted having dinner Friday night.

The on-again, off-again duo dined at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills and while we're unsure if their engagement is back officially, the photo certainly begs the question.

As TMZ reported ... the two have had a rocky past but recently called off their engagement, despite the fact the "Basketball Wives L.A." star is nearly 7 months pregnant.

UFC superstar Jon Jones says his NFL star brother Chandler Jones is doing well after a bizarre police incident last week ... saying he's just going through the "growing pains" of being a celebrity.

Chandler -- a star defensive end for the New England Patriots -- was hospitalized after dropping to his knees outside the Foxborough PD station in a discombobulated state. He was not arrested.

However, big bro Jon says Chandler has been doing really well since the incident -- telling us, "[He's] a young guy who's had a lot thrown at him" ... including a "new level of fame and success."

Jon says Chandler is now "doing what he has to do to make things right."

"Chandler's in a good position man. I'm so happy for him."

Andre Berto knows how to watch a street brawl ... from the comfort of his Rolls Royce.

The guy who knows a thing or 2 about fighting was out and about Friday night -- on the hunt for toilet paper and Starburst -- when he rolled up on a pack of amateurs throwing punches.

He captioned the video, "This why I stay in the house mane.. Folks out here having Royal rumbles outside like they got W.W.E. Contracts smh..... Man Iam coo."

The Panthers have joked that their secret weapon is WH food. Now, one win away from the Super Bowl, Waffle House has plans in motion to hook up Cam and the guys with a HUGE breakfast ... should they be victorious.

"We have reached out to the team and told them to name the place and time," a Waffle House spokesperson tells TMZ Sports. "We will be there ready to provide them with their much-needed Waffle House food."

The menu? 100 to 150 pounds of bacon and sausage ... as well as all the waffles the team can eat!!

Former NFL wide receiver Jabar Gaffney -- who played for the Texans, Patriots, Jets, Broncos and Dolphins -- was busted for weed in Florida Friday ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Cops say the 35-year-old -- who was a 2nd round pick in 2002 -- was pulled over in Jacksonville in his 2010 Ford F-250 truck for illegal window tint and failure to maintain a single lane.

During the stop, cops say the trooper noticed the strong smell of weed ... and later found 6.5 grams of the sticky icky.

He was arrested and booked for weed possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $7,000.

The Gainesville PD officer who became an Internet sensation for the way he responded to a noise complaint about black kids playing basketball in the street says it wasn't a big deal.

NBA legend Tracy McGrady strongly disagrees.

Multiple people connected to Lawrence Phillips -- including his criminal attorney -- tell TMZ Sports the suicide note found with his body was NOT in the NFL star's handwriting ... adding more doubt to claims he took his own life.

As we previously reported, Phillips' family says they aren't buying the explanation from Kern Valley State Prison -- that Phillips committed suicide in his cell last week.

Now, Phillips' attorneys say the key to the case could be the handwriting in the note found in Phillips' sock on the day of his death.

Lawrence's lawyer paraphrased the letter to USA Today Sports:

"Did you hear the one about the football player who hung himself from the TV mount in his cell?" the letter read.

The lawyer explained, "And where it said football player, it looked like somebody after the fact put the letter 'X' before 'football,' so it said 'X-football player.'"

Phillips had hand penned dozens of letters during his time behind bars -- he definitely had a distinct style to his handwriting.

Lawrence's attorney says the ex-NFL star's family is now in the process of hiring an independent investigator to look into Phillips' death ... believing he may have been murdered.

Marshawn Lynch's mother tells TMZ Sports ... she believes her son still has gas left in the tank and will NOT retire ... not yet at least.

We asked Delisa Lynch about the comments Seahawks G.M. John Schneider said about her son -- that he was under the impression Lynch would retire before next season.

But Delisa -- aka Momma Lynch -- says, "I really believe we haven't seen the last of Beast Mode!!!"

She added, "My younger son [Davonte] will be coming out next year. I told [Marshawn] to wait for his brother."

FYI -- Davonte is a running back at New Mexico Highlands University ... and Momma Lynch's goal is to have BOTH of her sons playing in the NFL at the same time!
