The Dallas Cowboys aren't the only ones gettin' ready for the season ... the Cowboys Cheerleaders are also gearing up -- starting with a bikini fashion show in Mexico that's just EN FUEGO!!!

The DCC was at the Marival Resort near Puerto Vallarta to shoot their annual calendar -- when they decided to give hotel guests one helluva fashion show.

Imagine you're about to play a middle school soccer game ... and Ronda Rousey shows up to give the pre-game pump up speech -- pretty cool, right?!

Joey Fatone says he knew his friend Chyna was "having some trouble" recently but didn't know how bad her issues had become ... telling TMZ Sports they had just made plans to hang out.

Fatone and Chyna have known each other for years -- and the *NSYNC member says he was sad to learn of her passing this week ... especially since he just had a conversation with her last week.

"I know she was having some trouble and stuff like that but didn't know [it had gotten] that bad."

Chyna had struggled with substance abuse for years -- and officials are investigating her death as a possible overdose.

Fatone says the two had just gotten back in touch with each other and were hoping to hang out sometime soon ... but she died before they could get those plans off the ground.

BTW, Joey made this video last year campaigning for Chyna to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Remember that Chicago Cubs fan who stormed the field to celebrate with the team after Jake Arrieta threw that no-hitter Thursday night??? Yeah, he got arrested.

Video captured Dylan Cressy jumping from the stands onto the field and jumping around with the team after the final out ... before a cop forcibly removed him from the celebration.

Turns out, he was taken straight to jail ... where the 22-year-old was charged with criminal trespass for entering the field area without permission.

Cressy is still in custody -- and is set to be arraigned this afternoon.

So the question ... worth it!?!?

Here's golf superstar Rory McIlroy catching some rays in Barbados with his fiancee Erica Stoll ... trying to carefully fill in some of that t-shirt tan he got on the links.

Rory and Erica -- who works for the PGA -- got engaged back in December. No word on when the wedding will be.

Iggy Azalea says she tried to warn Nick Young that his boys trip to Vegas last weekend would "look bad" in the wake of the whole cheating scandal ... but he went anyway -- and she's cool with it.

The rapper says her fiance actually had a pretty good reason for the trip -- and it wasn't to party and go crazy ... it was more business than pleasure.

We asked if the fact she went out sans engagement ring over the weekend was a message to the NBA star -- but she shot that down hard ... saying she doesn't think women have to rock the rock 24/7.

"It's nothing personal ... it doesn't go with the outfit."

Long story short ... seems Nick's out of the doghouse and the engagement is still on.

Adrien Broner is a free man ... finally out of jail after serving 10 days behind bars, TMZ Sports has learned.

We broke the story ... the boxing superstar surrendered to authorities in Ohio on April 12th to serve 10 days for violating his probation stemming from a 2015 drunk driving arrest.

During his stint, Broner asked fans to write him letters to keep his mind busy ... no word on how many people took him up on the offer.

But it doesn't matter now ... official records show Broner was released Friday morning -- and he's now back home with his family.

In fact, Broner already posted a pic of his family inside his home and wrote, "This is what I missed the most #Family @misslouiebags #Aalayah #Adrioen #DaddyHome."

It may not be Broner's last stint behind bars -- he's still facing several major criminal charges for an alleged violent robbery at a bowling alley earlier this year.

Johnny Manziel says he's like Rocky in "Rocky IV" when it comes to training -- climbing some insane mountains EVERY SINGLE DAY so he can get back in the league.

We got the QB leaving lunch at King's Fish House in Calabasas (no, it's not a nightclub) ... and asked with all of his partying, when does he make time to train?

"Every single day," Manziel told us ... before pointing to the mountain range and telling us he's been getting in work by climbing the hills.

Charlie Murphy is reflecting on his most famous basketball opponent ... opening up about how Prince didn't just change music -- he changed the world.

Of course, Charlie's "Chappelle's Show" sketch about his pick-up game with Prince is legendary ... but Murphy says it shouldn't have been a shock that His Purpleness was such an incredible athlete.

"If you seen his last show, how could you not watch his show and go, 'That dude is an athlete!'"

Prince clearly made an impact on Murphy -- and he joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show on FS1 to tell us what the singer meant to him. It's pretty good stuff.

Michael Jordan is paying tribute to Prince ... telling TMZ Sports the music legend's songs "inspired me throughout my career and remind me of so many moments from my life."

Jordan is a big Prince fan -- so we reached out to His Royal Airness for his thoughts about Prince's passing. Here's what he said in a statement given to us by his rep Estee Portnoy:

"Like so many people I am shocked at the news that Prince has died. In a world of creative performers, Prince was a genius."

"His impact not just on music, but on culture, truly can’t be measured His songs inspired me throughout my career and remind me of so many moments from my life."

The former USC football player accused of going on a violent 5-hour rampage in Los Angeles back in January has just been sentenced to 6 years in state prison ... TMZ Sports has learned.

We broke the story ... Bryce Dixon -- a 6'5" tight end who was kicked off the football team in 2015 -- was initially arrested for carjacking on Jan. 19th.

Officials say the 19-year-old hooked up with an ex-LSU football player and went on a late-night crime spree near the USC campus ... committing 7 violent robberies in 5 hours. In one case, officials say the men held a knife to a woman's throat.

Dixon and the other man were both charged with multiple counts of robbery -- along with carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon.

Now, we've learned ... Dixon struck a plea deal ... in which he pled no contest to 1 count of carjacking, 2 counts of 2nd degree robbery and admitted using a knife during the rampage.

Officials say he was sentenced to 6 years in state prison -- and will begin his sentence immediately.

MMA legend Wanderlei Silva has a message for Conor McGregor -- be a pro and do your job.

The 39-year-old was at LAX when we asked how he felt about Conor's argument that he's paid to fight -- NOT to promote.

"The promotion is a part of the deal and you need to be professional," Silva told us.

Silva says he respects McGregor as a fighter -- but at the end of the day, he signed a contract ... or as Wanderlei so masterfully put it ... "Job is job."

Brandon Marshall is desperate to keep Ryan Fitzpatrick as the Jets starting QB ... so desperate he says he's willing to solve the Jets vs Fitzpatrick contract dispute ... by raising the damn money himself.

With the Jets and Fitzpatrick reportedly "far apart" on a new contract ... we had to ask Marshall what he thought it was going to take to get the two sides to agree to a deal.

He's got a huge stake in this ... dude had a monster season last year with Fitzpatrick, grabbing 109 passes and hauling in a career best 14 touchdowns.

That didn't take long ... now that Conor McGregor's been axed from UFC 200, a big time fighter is publicly angling to take his spot ... with UFC fighter Tyron Woodley saying he's down to face Nate Diaz.

Woodley is #3 in the UFC Welterweight rankings -- aka no slouch -- and when we got him out in L.A., he told us he's already campaigning Dana White to give him a shot against Diaz.

Pretty cool tribute from the Minnesota Twins ... which just Purple'd up Target Field to honor Prince.

The team is currently in Milwaukee ... but Prince meant so much to the team and the state that Twins honchos decided to pay homage to their hometown legend by lighting up the stadium in his honor.

They also posted an image on the Jumbotron that read, "Goodnight Sweet Prince."

We spoke to a rep for the Twins who tell us the team is currently mulling over ideas to honor Prince at the next home game.

"I'm sure [the tribute] will include a lot of Prince music. I don't know if it'll happen, but were talking about instead of a moment of silence, having a moment of sexy."

Magic Johnson says he's crushed by the death of his "good friend" Prince -- saying the legend is one of 2 musicians he actually followed around the world to see in concert.

"I am so devastated by the passing of my good friend Prince," Johnson tweeted.

"This is so tragic. First MJ and now Prince! Two icons gone too soon!"

"Prince and Michael were the only artists I actually followed around the world to see their stellar performances live."

Several huge sports figures are also mourning the death of the music legend, including:
