At least, Patriots superfan John Krasinski doesn't seem worried ... telling TMZ Sports his team will go 4-0 with Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm.

Jimmy had a pretty decent showing in the 1st pre-season game last weekend -- going 11-18 for 168 yards against the Saints.

Can he keep it up against the Cardinals, Dolphins, Texans and Bills??

UCLA kicker Adam Searl will NOT be charged for allegedly sexually assaulting 2 women -- after investigators say there are too many holes in their stories.

As we previously reported, Searl was arrested after a woman claimed he went to her apartment in Oct. 2014 and raped her while she was blackout drunk.

After Searl was arrested in Oct. 2015, a second woman came to police and said Searl sexually assaulted her with his fingers during an incident in Feb. 2014.

Accuser #1 claimed she met Searl while drunkenly leaving a party and they went back to her place. She claimed she was so wasted, she blacked out but remembers Searl having sex with her 3 times and found 3 used condoms in her place the next morning.

She claims she tried to resist but kept blacking out. She went to police hours after the incident.

Cops say the DNA in the condoms matched Searl.

But investigators say they spoke with witnesses and ran toxicology and drug tests on the accuser -- and didn't find evidence to prove she was blackout hammered at the time of the incident.

Cops also say the fact she led him to her apartment cuts against her argument that he raped her.

Eventually, the L.A. County District Attorney decided there was not enough evidence to convict Searl, so the case was dropped.

As for accuser #2, officials spoke with witnesses and say there just wasn't enough there to prove he committed a crime. Plus, the fact she waited 1 year and 8 months made it a weaker case.

U.S. Olympic hero Katie Ledecky got her own private army at the airport in Virginia Wednesday morning -- but that's what happens when you're rockin' 4 GOLD MEDALS AROUND YOUR NECK!!!

The swimming sensation touched down earlier today -- and sported all 5 of her medals through Dulles International Airport (4 gold, 1 silver).

We counted at least 8 armed cops safely escorting Ledecky through the terminal.

As for Katie, she told us she's gonna take a break from swimming for a couple of weeks -- and if there's anyone who deserves it ...

WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio has been suspended for 30 days for violating the organization's talent wellness policy, WWE has announced.

Del Rio is one of the biggest stars in the WWE -- a former 2-time world heavyweight champion who just wrestled (and lost to) John Cena Tuesday night on "SmackDown Live."

The exact violation is unclear ... though the policy covers everything from substance abuse to annual physicals and cardiovascular health.

The WWE says the suspension will begin tomorrow -- and note that it's Alberto's first violation of the policy.

Seems RG3 is ALL IN with his new girlfriend ... 'cause he got her name TATTOOED ON HIS ARM!!

We're told the two hit up a tattoo parlor in Cleveland last month -- both got brand new ink on their forearms.

Grete is the 23-year-old Florida State track star who has apparently been dating the Browns QB for at least a month.

By the way, Griffin is STILL MARRIED to his wife, the mother of his child ... though they are recently separated.

Boxing superstar Adrien Broner is BACK -- he's currently being released from jail after a 30 day stint ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

Broner was locked up back in July after pissing off a judge when he arrived to a hearing 3 HOURS LATE and appeared to be drunk or hungover.

Broner had asked to be released early so he could train for an upcoming fight -- but the judge shot that down and told him he had to serve the entire 30 days.

We're told he's about to be released ... as long as he doesn't do anything stupid.

With his marriage apparently over, Robert Griffin III has already moved on ... 'cause he's getting VERY close with a smokin' hot new blonde and TMZ Sports has the pics.

Griffin is currently separated from his wife, Rebecca Liddicoat, (they have 1 child together) ... with a divorce in the works.

But over the past couple of weeks, he's been out in public with Grete Sadeiko -- a 23-year-old Estonian-born track and field athlete who currently attends Florida State University.

In fact, the two held hands on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame during a recent trip to L.A.

There's more ... Grete has also been posting thinly-veiled messages to the Cleveland Browns QB on Twitter (as pointed out by our friends at BSO) ... even referring to him as her "baby."

On August 12th, the Browns took on the Packers in a pre-season game. Grete tweeted, "Good luck to my baby tonight!!! And then hurry home."

She included an emoji of a dog (Browns reference) and a football.

A Brazilian judge has ordered for the IMMEDIATE seizure of Ryan Lochte's passport -- claiming he may have lied about a robbery incident in Rio ... but the swimmer is already back in the U.S.

UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz fired back at Cody "No Love" Garbrandt -- calling him "the CM Punk of the 135 pound division."

Garbrandt has been talking all sorts of smack lately -- and even went after Cruz's back tattoo ... saying the tribal look is lame and outdated.

So, Cruz joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (weeknights on FS1) -- and promised Garbrandt that his mouth is writing checks his ass can't cash.

We tried to get Cruz to give Garbrandt props for dating Paige VanZant in the past -- but he simply responded, "I don't know what she was thinking."

A real man can admit when he's wrong -- and Fabolous says he was WAY OFF when he predicted doom for the Knicks when they drafted Kristaps Porzingis.

The Brooklyn-born rapper was pissed when his squad took the Latvian phenom with the 4th overall pick in the 2015 draft -- and at the time, told us the Knicks were totally screwed.

But that was before KP killed it in his rookie season.

Wladimir Klitschko says Tyson Fury is jerking his team around when it comes to their rematch -- and now he's forced to go to court to get the heavyweight champ to honor their contract.

The two were originally supposed to fight in July -- but it was postponed when Fury got hurt. Now, they're expected to go at it in October ... but Klitschko says Fury is screwing things up.

"Unfortunately, Team Fury is trying to change the terms of already signed contract multiple times and is going on endless," Klitschko said.

"To protect my own rights, and eventually see the rematch, I'm forced to go to court."

No word on exactly what Fury is trying to change -- but clearly, Wlad is pissed.

Get your popcorn ready ... 'cause the Big Show vs. Shaq matchup is DEFINITELY going down at WrestleMania 33 ... so says the Big Show himself.

Last we heard, the two guys were down to square off -- but the WWE said the match wasn't officially set.

The 7-footer says he and Shaq "got the ball rolling" at the ESPYs and now it's a sure thing -- but heavy promotion for the event won't begin until January, considering WrestleMania 33 isn't until April.

What if we told you there was a full-contact tackle football league where ex and future professional players break each other off viciously WITH NO HELMETS? Crazy, right?

Crazy enough to be damn true ... it's called A7FL ... a 7-on-7 pigskin league with absolutely zero safety equipment protecting the players from demolishing each other.

We spoke to A7FL's CEO and co-founder, Sean Korkusuz, who says the 2-year-old organization is starting to pick up steam.

"The response we have been getting since we have been doing this has been tremendous," Korkusuz says.

As far as the players ... Sean says there's athletes of all talent levels who play in the A7FL right now ... and some of them have left to pursue careers in the softer, less hardcore league.

"Daryl Virgies is a guy who came through our league then went to a small college in Virginia, he just had his NFL pro day in the last few months."

As far as the safety of the players, competing in such a brutal game with no protection ... Sean had only one thing to say.

"All athletes sign a player injury waiver and all athletes must be 18 or older."

Robert Griffin III's marriage is just about over ... the NFL star has separated from his wife and the two are in the process of filing for a divorce ... this according to Cleveland.com.

Zac Efron stuck his landing in Rio, and immediately hooked up with Simone Biles ... moments after she nailed down her 4th gold medal.

The timing is no accident -- Simone crushed hard on Zac and the two exchanged some flirty tweets after The Final Five won gold in the team competition. Next thing ya know, BOOM ... Zac's flying south, and getting a smooch from Simone on the 'Today' set.

It's a good guess NBC paid for Zac's first class ticket to Rio.
