Pierce was at the grand opening of Hoops Cabaret and Sports Bar in NYC Thursday night -- when 4 of the thong'd out dancers started grinding up on him. Good times.

Don't worry ... we fired off some Eli Manning questions and Pierce told us the QB is NOT ready for Canton yet. He laid out what Eli has to do to get a bust of his own one day.

Remember, Pierce and Eli were teammates for years -- with Eli leading the team to one of the greatest Super Bowl victories ever over the undefeated Patriots in SBXLII.

Alex Rodriguez says he's definitely a fan of David Ortiz -- but when it comes to rooting for the MLB legend in his last playoff run ... A-Rod stopped short of saying he was rooting for him.

It all went down outside of Craig's in West Hollywood -- Alex was in a good mood and had nothing but love for Big Papi ... but scoffed at the idea of rooting for the Red Sox.

Buffalo Bills superstar Marcell Dareus says he's PUMPED to make his 2016 debut after serving his 4 game drug policy suspension -- explaining, "I sought out the help I need and I'm moving on."

Dareus joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show on FS1 and told us about the impact his life coach, Bruce Smith, has had on him ... and why he's more motivated than ever to be a great person and player.

Oh, and he also dishes out some smack talk to the L.A. Rams -- telling us how he plans to celebrate in Los Angeles if/when they upset the NFC West leaders.

The Toronto Blue Jays fan suspected of throwing a beer can at Baltimore Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim during Tuesday's Wild Card playoff game has been arrested ... cops say.

The Toronto Police Dept. says 41-year-old Ken Pagan has surrendered to authorities after cops released his photo and ID'd him as the lead suspect in the incident.

FYI, Pagan is a sports journalist for Postmedia -- and though he hasn't outright denied the allegations, he issued a statement suggesting police have the wrong guy.

Still, cops have charged him with 1 count of mischief -- and he's scheduled to appear in court in November.

Here are the courtroom sketches from inside the Derrick Rose rape trial -- showing the NBA star's accuser weeping on the stand as she told her side of the story in an L.A. courtroom.

As we previously reported, Rose -- sporting a suit with a blue tie -- showed up the proceedings 2 hours late on Thursday -- entering the courtroom while the accuser was on the stand.

During the trial, Rose didn't appear to make eye contact with accuser at all -- spending most of the proceeding looking down at his hands and staring off.

Rose did not take the stand today and did not talk with reporters on his way out of court.

The accuser is due back on the stand Friday.

This is NOT what Larry the Cable Guy meant by "Git-R-Done" -- but he damn near broke his opponent's limb in half during an arm wrestling competition.

The video is intense to say the least -- and it went down at the University of Nebraska football game last Saturday in Lincoln. Larry, a huge Huskers fan, and the guy -- an army vet named John -- were in a luxury suite, and we're told John challenged the comedian.

Just watch, it's a very close competition. Until it isn't ... and John's arm breaks.

We're told he had surgery to put a plate in his arm, and he's as okay as he can be today.

Fittingly, he broke his humerus bone. Yes, the funny bone.

3:27 PM PT -- Green has been arrested in California and will be extradited to Utah to face the charges ... officials confirm.

A former Utah State linebacker -- who was cut by the Atlanta Falcons in the preseason -- was formally charged with raping multiple women back in 2015 ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Torrey Green was hit with 4 counts of rape, 1 count of kidnapping and 1 count of sexual assault -- all felonies.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... cops in Utah were investigating Green for allegedly raping 3 women between January 2015 and November 2015. The details from the investigation can be seen here.

Green had signed a free agent contract with the Falcons earlier this year, but they cut him as soon as they learned about the investigation.

With the Indians as the odds-on LONGSHOT to win the World Series, Cleveland shortstop Francisco Lindor just got some brand new cleats made up ... with the word "BelieveLand" on the sides.

Seriously, according to SportsLine, the Indians only have a 6.4% shot to go the distance ... behind the Giants (9.0%), Rangers (11.9%) and Nationals (12.0%).

Shocker ... the Cubs are the faves (18.4%).

But back to the cleats, which Lindor had whipped up by Jorge Soto of Soto Customs -- he says the phenom wanted something "nice and clean" for his playoff debut.

New Zealand All Blacks superstar Aaron Smith -- considered one of the best rugby players in the world -- has apologized after he was caught nailing a chick in an airport bathroom.

Multiple witnesses say they saw Smith (who has a girlfriend) and a mystery woman sneak into a handicap accessible toilet at Christchurch airport in New Zealand last month.

One witness was with his young son and told the media, "It was obvious what was happening."

The team suspended Smith for 1 game and the Prime Minister of New Zealand said he "embarrassed himself."

Now, Smith has issued a public apology -- saying, "I've made a huge mistake. A huge error in judgment."

"I’d personally like to say a huge sorry to my partner (girlfriend) Teagan, her family, my family. I’m also sorry to my teammates and the New Zealand fans."

"My behavior is unacceptable and if you could respect me and my partner in this situation."

Derrick Rose just arrived to federal court in downtown Los Angeles where his civil rape trial is underway.

Rose arrived moments ago -- roughly 2 hours after the proceedings began.

He pulled up in a black SUV where media was waiting for him -- but instead of getting out of the car, he sped around to another entrance where there were less cameras.

Rose -- dressed in a black suit -- entered the court with one other person while his accuser was on the stand testifying about the case.

Rose and 2 friends are accused of gang raping the woman in her L.A. apartment back in 2013. She's suing for more than $21 MILLION.

Don't expect Dan Henderson and Conor McGregor to catch a beer together any time soon.

The UFC legend joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs Thursday night on FS1) -- and told us why McGregor just rubs him the wrong way.

The producers of a Mike Tyson documentary straight-up jacked photos from the Tyson-Holyfield bout for the film ... so claims the photographer in a new lawsuit.

Famed boxing photographer Teddy Blackburn says Xenon Pictures stole 4 of his shots from Tyson's infamous ear-biting 1997 fight against Evander Holyfield.

Xenon released the documentary in 2004 but, according to docs, never bothered to ask Blackburn for his permission to use the photos. Important note ... none of the photos are of Tyson's bite.

Blackburn's suing for a cut of the profits and other damages.

A spokesperson for Xenon Pictures tells TMZ ... the company licensed the film from a production company in the UK and says the licensor "fully warranted that all material used in the program (including the photos allegedly belonging to the plaintiff) were properly purchased."

Laugh all you want ... but one of the BIGGEST hair stylists in Hollywood just gave JaVale McGee a huge thumbs up for his bizarre new haircut.

We spoke with Ken Paves -- the hair guru for the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez and more -- and showed him the 'do McGee rocked during the Warriors preseason opener.
