It's about half an hour before kickoff at Super Bowl LI ... and a bunch of celebs are already taking the field.

Among the early birds are Mark Wahlberg, Usher, Yao Ming, Randy Moss, Alex Rodriguez, Michael Strahan, Terry Bradshaw, Erin Andrews and Lady Gaga (obviously).

President Trump has made his Super Bowl prediction -- and SHOCKER -- he's going with Tom Brady.

The Prez sat down with Bill O'Reilly and while he gave props to the Falcons ... he said they're eventually GOING DOWN.

"Tom Brady is my friend," Trump said ... "You have to stick up for your friends right?"

Final prediction -- Patriots by 8.

Lady Gaga seems to be taking people's advice to relax before her Super Bowl halftime performance way too literally.

Gaga hit the field about 20 minutes ago to warm up -- in front of the cameras, that is.

She's got a big day ahead of her ... rest up.

Tom Hardy knows where he should place his allegiance for Super Bowl LI ... and he's got his dog to thank for the direction.

Tom was interviewing on Fox Sunday, where he was asked who he's got to win the big game.

Due to Woodstock -- the canine, not the friend -- being from Georgia, he seems to have his pick.

The Houston Police Department is expecting the worst outside the Super Bowl and is ready to combat a wave of Prez Trump protesters making noise about disrupting the game.

Our law enforcement sources say officers, in uniform and undercover, will monitor crowds outside NRG Stadium. We're told several online groups have popped up in recent days organizing protests -- some anti-Trump, some for Black Lives Matter, Standing Rock and refugees.

HPD has plenty of backup, having borrowed cops from around the country. As usual for the Super Bowl ... we're told SWAT will be posted nearby if protests turn into riots and get out of hand.

Now that he's been acquitted in his domestic violence case, Jason "Mayhem" Miller is focusing on his career ... telling TMZ Sports he WILL fight again -- and could possibly dabble in porn.

The 36-year-old was outside Mercado Muay Thai where he praised his fans for their support during the trial ... a trial which revealed some freaky-deeky details about his sex life in open court.
