What do you do when Maria Sharapova has no answers for your questions? ASK THE FONZ ... 'cause Henry Winkler just stepped in for the tennis star and played publicist for her in L.A.

It all started when we got Maria at LAX, and wanted to know some really hard-hitting questions about her training regimen during her suspension and her mindset when she comes back.

Maria was mum ... but lucky for us, Henry Winkler showed up outta nowhere (literally, guy just appeared) and answered every burning question our photog had.

Charles Oakley says he has NO IDEA why he was kicked out of Madison Square Garden before things got physical with security Wednesday night ... swearing he has nothing but LOVE for the Knicks.

After Oakley was released from police custody, he sat down with a friend of his from Jimmy's NYC restaurant and calmly gave his side of the story.

Oakley also told the The NY Daily News he did NOT put his hands on Knicks owner Jimmy Dolan -- saying, "I was there for four minutes" ... I didn't say anything to him. I swear on my mother."

"They came over and wanted to know why I was sitting there. I bought the ticket. I said, 'Why do you guys keep staring at me?' Then they asked me to leave. And I said I'm not leaving."

Oakley was arrested and charged with 3 counts of misdemeanor assault and 1 count of trespassing.

Oakley's rep Akhtar Farzaie tells TMZ Sports, "Charles loves the Knicks, loves the fans, loves the city of NY."

"Oak bought his ticket to support the team and was told he was ordered to leave without reason ... anyone would be furious!"

NFL legend Jim Brown says Kanye West is alone in jumping off the Trump train ... telling TMZ Sports he's still 100% dedicated to working with POTUS to help poor people in inner cities.

7:31 PM PT -- NYPD officials tell TMZ Sports Oakley was arrested on 3 counts of misdemeanor assault. He is still in police custody.

Charles Oakley got into an ugly altercation in the stands during the first quarter of Wednesday night's Knicks game, and struck 2 security staffers ... one of them in the face, apparently.

Everyone wants to know how much the missing Tom Brady Super Bowl jersey is worth -- so we went right to the expert, Rick Harrison from "Pawn Stars."

Bottom line -- Rick says it could easily fetch $200,000 ... but there's one pretty significant catch.

TMZ Sports spoke with law enforcement sources involved in the search who tell us they are "hopeful" the jersey was put on a team equipment truck destined for Boston.

We're told the truck was never thoroughly searched before it left NRG Stadium in Houston -- and contains all sorts of team and player equipment.

Our sources tell us the truck is scheduled to be unpacked in Boston on Thursday and cops are crossing their fingers the #12 jersey turns up!
