A doctor who claims he witnessed the Alex Pretti killing says the Border Patrol agents who shot him were more interested in counting bullet holes than performing life-saving measures.

The Minneapolis pediatrician gave sworn testimony saying he did not see Pretti attack Border Patrol agents or "brandish a weapon of any kind" ... and he says "there was absolutely no need for any violence, let alone lethal force by multiple officers."

In his testimony, which is part of a lawsuit against DHS, the doctor -- whose identity is redacted -- says ... "At first, the ICE agents wouldn't let me through. But none of the ICE agents who were near the victim were performing CPR, and I could tell that the victim was in critical condition. I insisted that the ICE agents let me assess him."

Lowell “Sly” Dunbar, who was one half of legendary Jamaican duo Sly & Robbie, has died, his daughter confirmed to TMZ.

Natasha Dunbar tells us ... her father died Monday at his home in Kingston, Jamaica. A cause of death was not disclosed.

"As one half of Sly & Robbie, Sly helped shape the sound of reggae and Jamaican music for generations. His extraordinary talent, innovation, and lasting contributions will never be forgotten. We’re told Rick visited Corey in the hospital Sunday, and Corey is expected to be “off his feet” and confined to bed for the next six weeks.

As for Rick, he’s getting married today on the beach in Cancun. His Las Vegas wedding a couple of weeks ago was simply to “take care of the paperwork.” Corey, who lives in Tulum, had been planning to attend the ceremony.

A  moment of silence for Alex Pretti was held at the Minnesota Timberwolves' home game on Sunday -- and as soon as it ended, some fans in attendance used it as an opportunity to shout "F*** ICE" for all to hear.

As we previously reported, the Wolves' matchup with the Golden State Warriors was postponed following Pretti's death to "prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community" amid all the unrest that followed the fatal incident.

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has taken out an ad in The Wall Street Journal apologizing to "Those I Hurt," for his bigoted and alarming behavior in recent years ... naming his gravitation toward Nazi symbolism as something he particularly regrets.

In the ad, Ye blames the car crash that nearly took his life 25 years ago for causing undiagnosed damage to his frontal-lobe, which he says affected his mental health and led to his bipolar type-1 diagnosis.

He writes, "I lost touch with reality. Things got worse the longer I ignored the problem. I said and did things I deeply regret."

He continued ... "It does not excuse what I did though. I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people."
