Consequence was caught smack dab in the middle of that tense 2018 "Saturday Night Live" showdown between Kanye West and Michael Che that went viral earlier today, and tells TMZ Hip Hop exactly how HE REMEMBERS things went down!!!

Kanye's longtime collaborator admits Friday was the first time he's seen the footage from the unfiltered "In Whose Name?" documentary that's currently in theaters, but does admit the fiery clip of Ye barking at his former mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, with the wrath of a titan, touched him a bit.

Cons calls the clip "gut-wrenching" but urges fans not to forget we're all human, without necessarily excusing Ye's behavior.

It's no secret Stephen Curry's a beast on the court ... although Killer Mike apparently learned the hard way the NBA star's just as deadly in a comments section!

The pro basketball player recently defended his wife, Ayesha, from a comment shared by the rapper in September 2025 -- and it didn't exactly seem like the Golden State Warriors player was too happy about the performer's words.

Here's a look at what led up to Mike making his comment ... and what Steph thought of the statement.

Before we get to the comments, let's cover some ground about Stephen and Ayesha -- who first met when they were just teenagers, according to People.

The pair eventually reconnected in 2008, and they dated for two years before the NBA star popped the big question.

Stephen and Ayesha tied the knot in North Carolina in 2011, and they started a family with the birth of their first daughter, Riley, the following year.

The athlete and the influencer welcomed a second daughter named Ryan in 2015, and she gave birth to sons Canon and Caius in 2018 and 2024, respectively.

The conflict between Killer Mike and Stephen stemmed from a comment Mike left on a video shared by rapper Bookie Woodz on Instagram in September 2025, according to Us Weekly.

Mike claimed Ayesha had been "struggling with trying not to cheat on her husband," then compared her to GloRilla.

Mike apparently found the clip funny, and began his now-deleted message by writing "My n**** Said She Wanna Go Be Glo!!!" in a reference to Ayesha.

The rapper then appeared to show a bit of sympathy for Stephen, and wrote the athlete "doesn’t deserve the embarrassment frfr. God bless him."

Mike's comment didn't exactly sit well with Stephen, who shared a comment of his own -- which has since been deleted -- in response to the rapper's views about his wife.

The NBA star claimed he was fine "stating and letting these other clowns have their moment" after writing "naaaaa not you Mike."

The Golden State Warrior wrote he thought the rapper was "better than that" and told the performer to "stay in your lane and let God keep blessing me like he is."

Kanye West's "In Whose Name?" third-person documentary is in theaters today, and it's giving viewers a glimpse into how volcanic his last few years have been ... including how things got bad between him and his ex-mother-in-law, Kris Jenner!!!

In one clip, obtained by TMZ, Ye is filmed crashing out on Kris in an explosive shouting match over the megastar rapper's public perception when he was hospitalized back in 2016.

Kris told Ye it didn't matter what the internet peanut gallery thought ... prompting a temper tantrum from him on the spot, repeatedly screaming, "It does matter!" in her face.

Cardi B's "Am I The Drama?" album rollout has been earning rave reviews, and in addition to the music, she and her team can add one more stone to their Infinity Gauntlet -- a Guinness World Record!!!

The album dropped on Friday, and Cardi revealed on social media that she snatched the title for most deliveries with strategic marketing!!!

Kylie Galloway, a senior exec at Guinness World Records, tells TMZ Hip Hop the tandem of Cardi, Walmart, Wing Drone Delivery and Atlantic Records earned the newly minted GWR title for the most deliveries by UAV drones in one hour ... with 176 deliveries by drones!!!

12:29 PM PT -- Doesn't look like D4vd's tour is just ending in the U.S. -- his two Paris dates have also been canceled.

D4vd has canceled the remaining leg of his U.S. tour as questions mount over his connection to the body of a girl found in the trunk of his car.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... D4vd's camp made a decision Thursday to cancel the 2 remaining shows in the U.S. He was scheduled to perform Friday night in San Francisco and Saturday night in Los Angeles.

And as you can see, AXS has started alerting ticketholders for his Greek Theatre show in L.A. scheduled for Saturday that they'll begin the refund process.

Stefon Diggs appeared to be on baby duty earlier this year -- the NFL superstar was spotted leaving a hospital with a car seat in his hands ... exactly one day before he hard-launched his relationship with Cardi B.

A model has alleged in court documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, that Stefon Diggs is the father of her months-old baby ... but the NFL star says he's "not certain" the child is his.

Aileen Lopera -- an influencer who goes by Lord Gisselle on her social media pages -- claimed in a petition to determine parental relationship in Los Angeles County back in December 2024 that Diggs was the father of her then-unborn child.

In Diggs' response, which he filed in mid-July, he stated he wasn't sure if he was the parent of the little girl -- who was ultimately born in April. Diggs requested genetic testing to officially make the determination.
