Adam Sandler is officially back on the green after "Happy Gilmore 2" dropped on Friday ... and, while many actors from the first flick are back, the new faces in the cast -- like Eminem -- are doing their best to capture the vibe of the 1996 classic.

We now know the extent of Em's cameo -- Sandler confirmed he'd appear in the film way back in December -- and, the rap legend plays the son of a memorable character from the first movie.

Jeezy boasted about giving back to his "Hood" on his classic debut album "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101" -- a motto he's still living by 20 years later!!!

On Saturday, July 26, Jeezy is partnering with one of the USA's largest community development organizations -- Local Initiatives Support Corporation AKA LISC -- for a full-blown "Community Day" at Impact Church in East Point, Georgia, throughout the day, starting at noon.

The free event is led by Jeezy's Street Dreamz Foundation and will be open to the community with no registration required ... also serving as a dual celebration for the 20th anniversary of '101,' which was released on the same day back in 2004.

And his new single with Central Cee, "Which One," a dance jam that arrives just in time for the peak of summer!!!

Drake is all set to fire the gun on long-rumored 9th studio album "Iceman" tonight -- confirmed by Drizzy himself on Instagram!!!

In an IG post with a graphic that said "9PM," Drake clarified the project would be released Eastern Standard Time tonight (BTW, we're on Daylight Saving Time right now, not Standard ... just sayin').

Drake has been dropping Easter Eggs that "Iceman" would be a cold album through photos of iced-out jewelry as well as NBA HOF'er George Gervin and UFC legend Chuck Liddell, both of whom carved out legendary careers under the "Iceman" nickname.

Iceman is also an OG member of the X-Men within the Marvel universe; a superhero known not to bite his tongue ... which Drake did not do on the album's first single, "What Did I Miss?" which hit No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week.

He's currently in Europe for his "$ome $pecial $hows 4 U" tour run alongside PARTYNEXTDOOR, but he clearly wants the world to hear some new tunes.

We broke the story of GloRilla being arrested in Georgia for felony drug possession earlier today, and her legal team is calling the charges a total outrage of justice -- the rapper wasn't even at home!!!

As we told you, GloRilla's house was broken into this weekend ... by the time cops arrived, the suspects were gone -- but investigators say they encountered weed in their search for the burglars, and the rapper was then charged with felony drug possession.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress Saturday around 1:30 AM at a residence in the Atlanta suburbs. The sheriff's office says three suspects entered the house when an "armed occupant fired at the intruders."

Cardi B is being sued for a case she was legally cleared of -- a point her attorney is reiterating as he slams the lawsuit!!!

Drew Findling tells TMZ Hip Hop ... The lawsuit against Cardi regarding the 2-year-old microphone incident is a transparent and pitiful attempt at a financial shakedown.

"The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County District Attorney’s Office closed this matter for insufficient evidence a long time ago, but apparently the opportunity to try to make money off of a celebrity was too much for some willing law firm to pass up."

3:21 PM PT --  GloRilla is sharing her account of the events that led to her felony drug arrest, much which align with her attorneys' statement to TMZ.

The rapper says she was performing out of town in Indianapolis during WNBA All-Star Weekend when her home was invaded but the cops chose to pursue her reefer opposed to the robbers.

She claims she wasn't busted and we agree ... that's a great-looking mug shot photo!!!

GloRilla -- legal name Gloria Woods -- was arrested in Georgia on two serious drug charges ... TMZ has learned.

According to jail records obtained by TMZ, the rapper was booked Tuesday in Forsyth County for possession of a scheduled controlled substance and possession of marijuana over one ounce -- both felony offenses under Georgia law.

Details surrounding the arrest remain unclear, but police confirm she was taken into custody and released later that day after posting $22,000 bond.

We've reached out to her reps for comment ... so far, no word back.

Salt-N-Pepa are currently in the fight of their career in hopes of getting their masters reverted to them from Universal Music Group ... Cheryl 'Salt' James outlines it as "Big Guy vs. Lil Guy" -- but don't confuse their case with Drake's lawsuit!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Salt in Manhattan on Wednesday ... she and her longtime groupmate Sandra "Pepa" Denton sued UMG back in May, citing a contract breach that hasn't been honored, but Salt tells us things have "unusually" gone cold in the case.

Salt explains that their original contract specified they'd get their masters back after 35 years ... but it's now been 40 and they're still waiting for justice to be served.
