An NCAA Tournament reporter says he was hit with a threat from UConn after he posted a video of Dan Hurley in a bit of an unflattering situation on Sunday night.

The footage was taken inside the bowels of the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, N.C. ... just after Hurley's Huskies dropped their second-round matchup to the Florida Gators, 77-75.

Hurley could be heard in the clip screaming about the referees ... as the Baylor Bears were gearing up to take the court for their matchup with Duke.

The busty woman who's gone viral for standing behind Rick Pitino over the weekend has just been given an opportunity further milk her 15 minutes of fame ... as TMZ Sports has learned a porn site has offered her $200,000 to reveal herself -- in more ways than one.

The unidentified New Mexico fan set the internet ablaze on Sunday night -- when she appeared behind Pitino as the TNT broadcast showed him in the stands cheering on his son, Lobos head coach Richard Pitino, against Michigan State.

The New York high school basketball coach who was fired for pulling his player's hair is facing more problems than a lost job -- he's been cited for harassment, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

The Hudson Valley Community College Department of Public Safety says James Zullo was issued an appearance ticket for harassment in the second degree on Monday ... after a complaint was taken a day prior.

"Mr. Zullo will report to Troy City Court at a later date," an HVCC spokesperson told us.

An upstate New York high school girls’ basketball coach has been canned after he yanked a player’s hair following their team’s loss on Friday -- an appalling moment was caught on camera.

As you can see, Northville High School player Hailey Monroe was already in tears after the game, but to add insult to injury 81-year-old coach Jim Zullo appeared to viciously yanked her back by her ponytail.

In the upsetting moment -- Monroe tried to pull away as another player appeared to tell Zullo to stop, but the coach was seen berating her, wagging his finger in her face and screaming at her.

Prison inmate Charles Miles gave notorious wife-killer Scott Peterson a beating behind bars earlier this month ... and now he's sharing his side of the story.

In an exclusive preview clip obtained by TMZ, Charles tells Court TV via phone call he went into "attack mode" after Scott rammed into him during a game of pickleball. He says Scott "aggressively" sprinted at him with his paddle in hand --allegedly to chase the ball -- and made no effort to avoid him.

This pissed Charles off, who says he "beat him down to the ground" and "beat the hell out of him." Charles says there was a bit of a struggle, but once he overpowered Scott, he climbed on him and started pounding him.
