NFL Hall of Fame Safety Kenny Easley Dead at 66
Kenny Easley -- a longtime safety with the Seattle Seahawks -- has died, the team confirmed Saturday morning.
The team said Kenny lived up to the values of his team through "his leadership, intensity, and fearlessness" in a post uploaded to X. The Seahawks expressed condolences to his wife and three children in the post. His cause of death is not yet public knowledge.
Easley was drafted by the Seahawks with the fourth overall pick in the 1981 NFL Draft after playing college ball at UCLA

Letitia Quinones-Hollins, attorney for Patrick, tells TMZ in a statement ... "Patrick Beverley has no criminal record. He cares deeply about his little sister – a young lady, a minor. Given that, when he unexpectedly found her alone in the home with an 18-year-old man in the middle of the night, he was understandably concerned, as any brother would be about his sister. However, we don’t believe what followed happened the way it’s been described and we look forward to the opportunity to address that in court."
Ex-NBA player Patrick Beverly has been arrested in Texas for felony assault, TMZ Sports has learned.
The 6'2" point guard was taken into custody on Friday at the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office in Richmond, Texas.
According to jail records, the charge against Beverley is Assault on a Family Member/Household Member Impeding Breath or Circulation. It's listed as a third-degree felony.

"Last Chance U" star John Beam -- a longtime football coach who dedicated his life to helping the youth through sports -- has passed away at 66 years old after being shot on campus, Oakland P.D. confirmed on Friday.
As we previously reported, gunfire broke out on the Laney College campus on Thursday -- details surrounding the shooting were not revealed at the time ... but local outlets confirmed Beam was struck and taken to a nearby hospital.
In a press conference, Oakland PD stated Beam died Friday morning due to the injuries he suffered ... and stated it was "a very targeted situation."

12:37 PM PT -- Alachua County Communications Director Mark Sexton tells TMZ Sports ... the first call for a fire at Harvin's home came in at 7:48 PM -- with crews arriving at 7:54 PM.
Crews didn’t see flames when they arrived. They entered the home, smelled smoke, and were then alerted that a fire had started on the roof.
The flames were extinguished by 9:17 PM, Sexton said. No residents or firefighters were hurt ... however, the house suffered smoke and water damage, while the roof sustained extensive damage.
Currently, investigators believe that a mechanical failure was the cause of the blaze.
Percy Harvin's Florida home erupted in flames Thursday evening ... triggering a huge response from firefighters, TMZ Sports has learned.
The inferno, which lit up the sky, was captured on video by a neighbor.
It's unclear if 37-year-old Harvin or his family were in the home at the time of the terrifying incident ... but indications are that no one was seriously harmed.

Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Ben Cleveland has cut a plea deal with prosecutors in his DUI case and has been sentenced to probation ... TMZ Sports has learned.
According to court documents we obtained, the Ravens guard pleaded guilty on Nov. 4 to one count of DUI following his arrest in February -- where cops say he blew a .178 (more than two times the legal limit) on a breathalyzer after he was spotted driving erratically.
As part of his deal, he is set to serve a 12-month probation period. While he was supposed to spend 24 hours behind bars ... they credited the 27-year-old with time served.

Diana Arêas -- a bodybuilder and fitness influencer -- has died ... according to local outlets in Brazil.
Arêas was found dead at her apartment complex in Campos -- a city just north of Rio de Janeiro -- just after noon on Thursday, J3News.com reported.
Strangely, Arêas reportedly went to the hospital with cuts on her wrists and neck in the morning on the day before first responders found her dead in a "common area of the building," the outlet reports.

9:01 AM PT -- A man was arrested in a city outside Oakland on Friday in connection to the shooting, according to local reports.
It's unclear at this time if the suspect had any ties to the football program or Coach Beam.
"Last Chance U" star and Laney College athletic director John Beam was reportedly shot on Thursday ... and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
His current condition has not been released.
Acting Oakland Police Chief James Beere said in a press conference they received reports and calls before noon about shots being fired at Laney College.
When officers arrived, they located a wounded victim. He was transported to the hospital, where he's currently being treated.
C.J. Anderson Praying For 'Last Chance U' Coach After Shooting ... Keep Fighting!!!
Ex-NFL star C.J. Anderson is sending prayers to his former coach and "Last Chance U" star John Beam, who was wounded in a shooting at Laney College campus on Thursday.
The running back shared an emotional message on his X account after the news broke that Beam was transported to the hospital following an on-campus shooting.
Anderson played at Laney in 2009, when Beam was the offensive coordinator. C.J. later went on to a nine-year NFL career, which included a Super Bowl win with the Denver Broncos.

Rubiales revealed the man was actually his uncle ... as he went on to say, "He's a troublemaker and he's unwell. I think he's been arrested. We'll see what we can do to prevent these things from happening again. It's a shame."

Weeks before Cody Franke -- known as Barstool Beef -- passed away in the Dominican Republic, he hit the game-winning putt in the company's first-ever Internet Invitational ... taking home a piece of the $1 million prize.
The final episode of the invitational dropped Thursday night ... which saw Beef, Francis Ellis and Brake Dalke take on Paige Spiranac, Frankie Borelli and Malosi Togisala.
It all came down to the last hole, with the two teams all squared. After an errant chip from Borelli went into the water ... it set up Beef to hit the match-sealing putt, and you can see how much it meant to him.
