Ex-Formula One driver Antonio Pizzonia is speaking out following his recent assault arrest ... claiming while he regrets his actions, he was simply defending his son.

The 45-year-old former Jaguar and Williams star went to Instagram to share his side of the story on Monday ... stating he's "fine" and back home following his eventful weekend in Texas.

"There really was an incident which, today, I would have reacted to differently," Pizzonia said.

Cardi B is in full grind mode ahead of her upcoming tour ... and based on new rehearsal footage, she’s pushing herself and her team to get everything locked in.

The "I Like It" rapper took to IG to drop a new video -- set to her track "Hello" -- giving fans a look at her rehearsal sessions as she preps for the “LITTLE MISS DRAMA” tour.

Cardi’s seen doing it all -- stretching, jumping jacks, squats, crunches -- and working through choreography with a decently sized team. There’s plenty of collaboration happening in the room too ... as she fine-tunes moves with her dancers and staff.

Jeremy Shockey has never been bashful ... and his message to the New York Giants is simple ... go get John Harbaugh!

The four-time Pro Bowl tight end -- who won a Super Bowl with the Giants in the 2007 season -- tells TMZ Sports the ex-Ravens coach would be his pick for the Big Apple.

“A coach of that caliber with that kind of pedigree and experience doesn’t come around often,” Shockey said, adding the G-Men shouldn’t be chasing “one-hit wonders” or rolling the dice on another untested hire.

Sam Beal -- a former NFL Draft selection by the New York Giants in 2018 -- has been missing for the last seven months ... and now his sister has gone to social media to plead for the public's help.

"We've done everything we could on our end to piece things together and at this point we're in desperate need of support on all ends," Beal's sister, Essence Zhane, said. "I'm not here to answer a bunch of why's and how's I just need this to land in the right direction to gain some form of answers or closure."

According to his profile on the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, the 29-year-old was last seen in July 2025 after dropping his girlfriend off at her house. He was supposed to use her car to drive to work, but instead, allegedly made his way to Virginia Beach.

Ex-Formula One driver Antonio Pizzonia was arrested for assault over the weekend, TMZ Sports has learned.

Details surrounding what led up to the 45-year-old's trip to the slammer remain unclear ... but the Brazilian athlete was booked in a Texas jail around 6 PM on Saturday.

Pizzonia -- who raced in the world's top racing organization from 2003-2005 -- looked stoic as he posed for a mugshot ... which showed him decked out in a striped jail jumpsuit for the occasion.

Cooper DeJean's brother, Beckett, allegedly had a BAC well above the legal limit when he was arrested for operating while intoxicated over the weekend -- cops say he blew a .142 on a breath test.

TMZ Sports has obtained 20-year-old DeJean's arrest affidavit ... with cops stating the former South Dakota defensive back was "unable to maintain lane" as he was driving his Chevy Malibu around 11:55 PM on Saturday. Once he was pulled over, the officer claimed "a strong odor of alcohol." was evident.

The cop said as they searched his vehicle for a source of the odor, a case of beer was present in the backseat ... and once questioned, DeJean admitted to drinking.

Notre Dame football head coach Marcus Freeman will not be charged with a crime after an altercation at his son's high school wrestling match earlier this month.

The alleged incident occurred on Jan. 3 at Mishawaka High School in Indiana, when Freeman -- head coach of the Fighting Irish since 2021 -- was there to watch his son, Penn H.S. senior Vinny, in the Al Smith Wrestling Invitational.
