We caught up with the former Patriots superstar outside of NBC in New York City this week ... and asked how he felt about the the biggest football story of the week.

His reaction was exactly what you'd expect.

Bert Kreischer is counting down the days until his pre-Daytona 500 Full Throttle Festival ... and he tells TMZ Sports if there were one person in the whole world he would love to introduce to NASCAR -- it would be none other than Joe Rogan!!

We chopped it up with the comedian ahead of the opening race of the 2026 NASCAR season ... and he told us he hopes to convince the podcast megastar and UFC commentator on how great a sport it is.

"He doesn't really follow NASCAR," Kreischer said. "And I would love for him to get into NASCAR."

Paul Walter Hauser wants to make one thing crystal clear heading into his showdown with Mad Dog Connelly -- pro wrestling isn't a celebrity cameo or a Hollywood flex.

The "Naked Gun" actor tells TMZ Sports he's in this world now -- and he’s not giving up an inch ahead of Sunday's SuperPower Slam at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City.

"I now live in his world, and he’s going to have to make room for me," Hauser said on a joint call with Mad Dog. "I’m not letting anyone take my spot, man."

Punches started flying way before Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson's fight Saturday night -- a massive brawl broke out several times at their weigh-ins ... and Devin Haney's dad appeared to be right in the middle of one of them in an attempt to break it up.

It happened on Friday at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, after Lopez and Stevenson stepped on the scales for their WBO World Super Light title fight.

Several cameras captured the chaos as the melee broke out near the stage, with multiple men throwing punches after a heated exchange of words.

8:13 PM PT -- Steve Tisch released a statement on Friday night in response to the emails that surfaced between him and Jeffrey Epstein:

"We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy and investments," Tisch said. "I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island.  As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with."

N.Y. Giants co-owner Steve Tisch repeatedly exchanged emails with Jeffrey Epstein, where the men discussed different women ... a new trove of emails released by the Justice Department shows.

The emails were among the more than 3 million the DOJ released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Congress passed in November 2025.

In April 2013, Tisch emailed Epstein saying, "I just had lunch with your assistant's friend [REDACTED] who I met at your house Wed morning. Very sweet girl."

"Do you know anything about her?" Steve asked.

Vernon Davis is speaking out after a woman accused him of abusing her last year ... saying he is looking forward to clearing his name.

The Super Bowl champ went to social media to address the TMZ Sports report ... saying he is aware and saddened by the news coming to light.

"For now, I'm staying focused on my life, my work, and the amazing people and partners who believe in and continue to support me," Davis said minutes ago.

The Rock's daughter, Ava, just announced she's not renewing her contract with WWE ... calling it a difficult decision, but she's ready to move on from the organization that turned her pops into a household name.

Simone Alexandra Garcia Johnson revealed her plans in a statement shared on Instagram Friday ... just days after her appearance on NXT.

"This past Tuesday was my last appearance on NXT & subsequently WWE," Johnson said. "Thank you to all who have cheered, watched, and supported me through my journey."

Sha'Carri Richardson PLEADED with the police officer who stopped her for allegedly driving over 100 MPH, begging him not to arrest her ... but she still left the scene in handcuffs.

TMZ Sports obtained the body-worn camera from the Orange County Sheriff's Office deputy ... and it shows the Olympic athlete doing everything in her power to avoid winding up in jail.

The clip starts with the officer catching up to Richardson's Aston Martin before activating his lights and sirens and pulling her over.

The deputy approaches her, and it's clear he isn't happy from the jump, telling Sha'Carri ... "I'd wipe that smile off your face," before explaining she was being "stopped for dangerous, excessive speeding."

Sha'Carri Richardson wasn't the only track star arrested on Thursday -- her boyfriend, sprinter Christian Coleman, was busted for drug paraphernalia and resisting during the traffic stop, TMZ Sports has learned.

We've obtained the arrest affidavit from the medalist's run-in with police ... and it turns out it was a bit of a Team USA hangout of sorts -- with CC, as well as fellow sprinter Twanisha Terry, getting name-dropped.

The report states cops were driving north on State Road 429 in Winter Garden, Florida around noon on Thursday ... when a gray vehicle approached at a rapid speed. When using radar, the cop says the car at one point reached up to 104 MPH.

One of college football’s most iconic voices may be facing his toughest battle yet: Lou Holtz is reportedly in hospice care.

Holtz, 89, is one of the most accomplished coaches the game has seen ... forever tied to Notre Dame’s classic 1988 national championship.

The kind words for coach have flooded social media following the reports.

"Oh at some point I think we all knew we’d be lucky to hold on to Lou and legends like him much longer," announcer Tim Brando posted on X Thursday night. "So many we've looked up to and many I had the honor and privilege of not only covering but working alongside eventually head to their next life of eternal glory. My thoughts are with his family, especially my dear friend (Skip Holtz) his wife Jen and their extended family. His beloved wife Beth awaits. Coach Holtz has always been a National Treasure."
