Ex-UFC star Diego Sanchez can breathe a huge sigh of relief -- the fighter will not spend time behind bars for his gun-related arrest last year ... after reaching a deal with prosecutors.

The 44-year-old was sentenced to five years of supervised probation and 800 hours of community service this week -- prosecutors initially requested two years in prison.

Sanchez was initially facing two charges -- shooting at or from a motor vehicle and negligent use of a deadly weapon.

Officials are speaking out on Tiger Woods' DUI arrest ... with law enforcement announcing he refused to take a urine test during an investigation into Friday's car crash.

Woods will remain behind bars for at least 8 hours as a result of the arrest ... but the sheriff noted alcohol was NOT an issue -- the speculation was always it was either medication or drugs, as he appeared "lethargic."

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek just broke the bombshell news minutes ago ... stating cops were alerted to a crash on Jupiter Island before 2 PM.

Jupiter Island PD received a call of a rollover crash. When they got on the scene, cops encountered a pickup truck latched to a pressure cleaner trailer and a Land Rover that was rolled over on its driver side.

Dr. Henry C. Lee -- a renowned forensic scientist whose testimony for the defense is credited with helping a jury acquit O.J. Simpson in the world-famous double-murder trial in 1995 -- died today at his home in Henderson, Nevada. He was 87.

Among other high-profile cases, Lee worked on the JonBenét Ramsey murder investigation in the 1990s, the Laci Peterson case in the early 2000s, as well as the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping. He also assisted the forensics investigation of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Jelly Roll is getting back in a WWE ring on Friday ... and his opponent, Kit Wilson, tells TMZ Sports the guy might be a big-time singer, but he's treating him like the real deal when they face off on SmackDown.

"I'm not taking him lightly," Wilson told us. "He has a passion for WWE and I think that's the big difference between a lot of celebrities before and maybe a Jelly Roll and a Logan Paul. Good news for Gervonta Davis ... TMZ Sports has learned authorities have dismissed the false imprisonment charge against the star boxer, but Tank's still in hot water over the alleged violent incident involving a woman at a Miami strip club.

Davis -- 30-0-1 in the ring -- was arrested in January following a weeks-long manhunt after a South Florida dancer accused 31-year-old Davis of getting physical with her at a Miami gentlemen's club in October 2025.

Gervonta was initially facing three charges -- misdemeanor battery, felony kidnapping, and felony false imprisonment. However, court documents show the false imprisonment charge was dropped on Thursday.

The reason? We're told prosecutors felt it was redundant ... and that's why the kidnapping charge remains.

TMZ Sports has obtained the body cam footage from Sherrone Moore's arrest ... showing the former Michigan football coach bawling as he's placed in cuffs and put in the back of a cop car.

In the footage from the December 10 arrest in Michigan, Moore -- wearing Wolverines gear -- was sitting in a black SUV in a church parking lot when cops approached the vehicle and told him to stay put with his hands out the window.

When Moore was instructed to get out, he was visibly crying ... claiming he can't get handcuffed due to a bad shoulder.

As he sat in the back of a police cruiser, he told a cop he had just gotten canned ... and when the officer shared his condolences, the coach said, "That's part of life, I guess. They wanted to fire me anyways."

Michael Jordan is back in the spotlight for something he's no stranger to -- winning.

His Airness is opening up about his legal war with NASCAR and didn’t hold back in a sit-down interview on Friday with CBS’ Gayle King … admitting his lawsuit against the racing giant wasn’t just business -- it was personal.

“100%,” Jordan said when asked if his intention was to shake up the sport.

The NBA legend -- now co-owner of 23XI Racing -- explained that once he got deeper into NASCAR, he didn’t like what he saw ... particularly when it came to how the people “putting on the show” were treated compared to those at the top.

12:00 PM PT -- The Raiders released a statement on Barret Robbins' death on Friday, saying they are heartbroken over his passing.

"He played in 121 career games with 105 starts, all with the Silver and Black," the Raiders said.

"The thoughts and condolences of the entire Raider Nation are with Barret's family and friends during this difficult time."

10:00 AM PT -- Tim Brown tells us Barret had been dealing with health problems for decades ... dating back to a 2005 incident involving police.

Former Raiders All-Pro center Barret Robbins has passed away, according to his teammate Tim Brown, who says he was told the former lineman died in his sleep.

He was 52.

Brown -- who played alongside Robbins from 1998 to 2003 -- revealed the heartbreaking news Thursday night, revealing he got a call from Marissa Robbins, who told him Barrett died overnight.

"Thankfully, he passed peacefully in his sleep," Brown said.

The Los Angeles Dodgers' Opening Day game was an emotional one for the Vesia family ... with Alex's wife sharing a heartbreaking post about their late daughter.

Kayla Vesia was present at Dodger Stadium as the back-to-back World Series champions took on the Arizona Diamondbacks ... and she admitted it was "a very bittersweet" start to the season.

The woman accusing Puka Nacua of biting her and making an antisemitic comment has been on the receiving end of threatening messages after filing a lawsuit and TRO against NFL star ... this according to her attorney, who tells TMZ Sports it's gotten to the point where police are involved.

We spoke with Madison Atiabi's lawyer, Joseph M. Kar, on Thursday ... and he explained how her name going public in court docs has resulted in Puka's supporters going after her.

TMZ Sports has obtained court documents that show Holloway asked for -- and received -- permission to leave the state of Alabama after his recent arrest on felony marijuana charges. Because of his bond conditions, he needed approval just to travel … and a judge signed off Friday morning.

The plan? Head to Chicago and return Monday -- right as Alabama gears up for its Sweet 16 matchup with Michigan in a matter of hours … and a possible Elite Eight game if the Crimson Tide advances.

The world continues to mourn the loss of Chuck Norris ... including his friend, actor, martial artist, and Tae Bo creator Billy Blanks, who told TMZ Sports the legendary figure played a major role in shaping him as a person.

We caught up with Blanks at LAX this week ahead of his induction into the MMA Hall of Fame -- an honor he says means a lot, especially since Norris is also enshrined.

That's when Billy became emotional while talking about his friend Chuck, who passed away last week at the age of 86.

Months after a woman hit Paul Pierce with a paternity lawsuit ... she is now asking a court to make the NBA great pony up nearly $30K a month in child support.

In court documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, Princess Santiago claims Paul is the father of her newborn and is asking the judge to award her sole legal and physical custody, monthly child support in the amount of $29,811 and another $100K for her legal bills. She is also again requesting genetic testing to confirm that Paul is, in fact, the daddy.

On top of that, she wants Paul to pay one-half of all "reasonable expenses" relating to her pregnancy, birth, and post-birth expenses -- which she says totals $18,846.
