Dayton James Webber -- the quadruple amputee professional cornhole player suspected of fatally shooting another man in his car -- sounds like he's going to argue he was acting in self-defense.

Webber's attorneys telegraphed their defense strategy Wednesday during a bond hearing in Maryland, telling the judge the murder case against Webber was "a clear-cut case of self-defense."

One of the defense lawyers said Webber was "terrified of being killed" and "knew that he had to shoot or be killed." They said he didn't plan to kill the victim, Bradrick Wells, and made a split-second decision to pull the trigger.

Tiger Woods is going far away to get treatment after his recent DUI arrest -- the golf superstar was granted approval to travel out of the country to receive care ... citing privacy as the main reason.

TMZ Sports has obtained the filing made by attorney Douglas Duncan ... which states Tiger was looking to leave America to "begin comprehensive inpatient treatment."

"Based upon the Defendant's treating physician, the out of country treatment facility recommendation is based upon the Defendant's complex clinical presentation and the urgent need for a level of care that cannot safely or effectively be done within the United States, as his privacy has been repeatedly compromised."

Tiger Woods just scored a small win in court -- and it could mean he’s getting back on the move soon.

A Florida judge has permitted Woods to travel out of state following his recent DUI arrest … signing off on the motion on Wednesday after leaving the decision up to the court’s discretion, according to documents obtained by TMZ Sports.

It’s unclear why Tiger sought permission to travel outside of Florida.

"I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today," the 50-year-old golf superstar said on X minutes ago.

"I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery."

Tiger Woods has entered a not guilty plea for his DUI case ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The golf superstar has retained Douglas Duncan to once again represent him for his latest legal troubles ... the same teammate he had when he fought his 2017 DUI.

According to court records, Douglas was listed as the attorney of record for the golf legend and filed a waiver of Woods' presence at pretrial conferences on Tuesday.

We reached out to Duncan for a statement, but his office said "no comment."

2:10 PM PDT -- Gervonta Davis' legal team released a statement to TMZ Sports after the surveillance video surfaced ... saying, "We were disappointed with the court’s ruling today, as we do not believe the video tells the entire story."

Gervonta Davis grabbed his ex-girlfriend by the neck at a Miami strip club during a dispute in October, and the ugly scene was captured on surveillance video.

The attorney for the alleged victim rolled eight clips in a Florida court on Tuesday ... showing the then-30-year-old boxer confronting the woman in a back hallway at Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami shortly before 4 AM in October 2025.

Davis appeared to grab the woman by the neck/hair, push her through the hallway and down a set of stairs, and through the closed/empty club before exiting an exterior door, which led to a parking lot.
